Operations Update

Port of Baltimore Collision

Our thoughts are with all people impacted by the collision of the Dali with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore.  Elenteny’s operations are not directly impacted by this event, but as reported we anticipate disruptions and possible delays to container ship arrivals, as East Coast Ports absorb the traffic that is diverted as investigations continue.

Seattle Lane Suspension

We are announcing the suspension of our Seattle LCL services due to low demand.Low demand to fill our Seattle lane is due to lengthy on-the-water transit times, delays, and additional charges resulting from the Panama Canal restrictions. These factors have led to many of our customers switching their shipping to NY and trucking to Seattle.  FCL shipments direct to Seattle is still an option, reach out to sales@elentenyimports.com

Organic Update

The new USDA rules went into effect on 19 March 2024, and we have been working hard to ensure our compliance with the new program.   We have heard from many of you how confusing and hard it has been to navigate these new rules with your suppliers and we thank you for your patience as we secure our certification.  As many of you know, as the importer of record on our shipments Elenteny must become certified to comply with the program.  We continue to work with the USDA to ensure our compliance.   Watch this Space!
