Elenteny Imports recently received updated pricing tariffs from our freight forwarders and are pleased to announce that prices on the European lanes continue to fall. We are implementing our second price reduction of 2023, reducing our most popular LCL lanes prices from between ~$2.00 to ~$3.00 per case. We will also be restarting our direct to the West coast LCL service.
Example price changes – level 3 pricing (200 – 349 cases)
East coast
- France -> NY Base price $21.73 -> $19.38
- Italy -> NY Base price $20.23 -> $17.53
West coast – (Through March 31st, see below)
- France ->through NY Base price $27.24 -> $25.77
- Italy -> through NY Base price $25.61 -> $23.96
Resumption of our direct LCL service to the West Coast
We are excited to announce the resumption of our direct LCL service to the West Coast. We have received feedback from many of you asking that this service be restarted. New shipping schedules, price reductions as well as more positive signs on the labor side have enabled us to make the decision to resume this service effective for Shipments Beginning Q2, April 1st.
West coast Direct LCL shipments – example pricing – Effective 1st April 2023.
- France ->through NY current Base price $27.24 -> $22.19* (California Direct)
- Italy -> through NY current Base price $25.61 -> $19.18* (California Direct)

The approximate shipping-time from Europe to the West Coast is ~40 days Ocean time, plus port and transport time.
For those of you who use our FCL services, similar pricing reductions will apply.
Please note that for FCL customers all “Emergency” charges have now been dropped
Pricing changes apply to any shipments sailing on or after March 1st 2023, for direct West coast LCL services the pricing will change on April 1st.
Here are the key changes:

- West coast shipments 17%

- West coast LCL services will resume April 1st, with case price reductions in the $5 to $6 range.

- Do you foresee any end to the supply chain crisis?
- The supply chain crisis continues to ease, we anticipate continued improvement throughout 2023. Container availability, warehousing
and port congestion continue to improve and have allowed us to make the decision to resume our West Coast, direct, LCL shipments.
- Will Elenteny Imports continue to drop rates if supply chain costs drop?
- Yes, in fact this our second pricing reduction in 2023.
- Can I get a full revised LCL price list?
- Yes, please reach out to your account rep, or email support@elentenyimports.com.
- Will West Coast LCL shipments continue to ship through the East Coast?
- NO, direct service to the West Coast will resume April 1st.
- Will rates for FCLs change?
- Yes, in line with forwarder decreases
Effective date
The revised charges affect all shipments that depart on or after March 1st, 2023.
West Coast direct LCL prices will be effective April 1st.
