Elenteny Imports will be closed on December 26th , and on January 2nd , 2023 in observation of the Christmas and New Year Holiday.

Demand On The European Lanes Continues To Be High:
Capacity is set to increase on average by 30% mainly due to bigger vessels entering the Northern Europe and Mediterranean market to the U.S. East Coast.  We anticipate that additional capacity and reduce demand will lead to European price reductions in 2023.

Port Updates as of December 21, 2022:

New York December 21 – Wait times continue to average approximately 2 days at APM and PNCT. Maher and GCT continue to operate with normal turnarounds. Warehouse backups persist with wait times at some stretching into the new year. Elenteny is experiencing delays of up to a week at FDL.

Oakland December 21 – Wait times are all but eliminated at the port and turnaround times have normalized, however delays at Sidekick for delivery appointments will cost more than shipping from New York with yard storage, per diems and reefer monitoring. Sidekick must get caught up before port of Oakland is a reasonable option.

Houston December 21 – Wait times are 2-10 days to secure equipment.
