Weekly Update Week 27: June 27th-July 1st

Operations Update:

Summer Property Closures:
As we enter the summer months, we understand some wineries close and take extended holiday before harvest. We request that you please give us advance notice if there is an order that needs to be collected before a summer closure. We will do everything possible to pick up any urgent orders, prior to a closing date, but we cannot guarantee a collection can be scheduled if given less than 2 weeks notice prior to the anticipated closure. Additionally, please note depending on the country, our forwarders may be short on warehouse space and not have the ability to pick up every order as needed; however, we will try to accommodate all requests.

Delays at Sidekick Warehouse:
Due to a Covid outbreak, you may experience receiving delays this week at Sidekick.

We hope to get back on track next week. Thank you for your patience and understanding.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

July 4th Closure:
Elenteny Imports will be closed on Monday July 4th in Observance of the Fourth of July Holiday.

Happy Independence Day.

Blank (cancelled) Sailings:
Europe to North America – remain near historic highs.

Cancelled sailings are a huge frustration for all of us.  The graph above shows that cancelled sailings, from Europe to the U.S, peaked at ~25% earlier this year and remain near historic highs.  (Sources: Sea Intelligence, Flexport Analysis)
