Optimize Your OND Orders
With West Coast containers now scheduled to arrive in early November and East Coast containers due to land in early October, strategic ordering is essential for OND peak season success.
Order immediately for East Coast distribution – you have minimal buffer time before October arrivals. Factor in at least 1 week for customs clearance, inland transportation, and warehouse processing, meaning your inventory will be retail-ready by mid to late October, perfectly timed for holiday demand.
For West Coast orders, place orders within the next 2 weeks to ensure you have inventory for the Christmas and New Year holiday season – but consider potential port congestion during peak season and allow extra time for processing.
Make sure to Build in contingency time for delays, prioritize fast-moving SKUs, and consider air freight for critical items if ocean freight timelines become too tight. Don’t wait – container space and manufacturing capacity become increasingly constrained as everyone rushes to secure holiday inventory. Talk to our sales@elentenyimports.com team today.
More stock. Lower sales. New tariffs.
What’s ahead for Q4?
Inventory levels jumped in October 24’ with inventory up 39% on the previous year. Despite these stockpiles, throughout the last holiday season, Q4 sales dropped by 6%. Inventory levels are still high, and the supply has been disrupted by tariff fatigue.
High inventory + declining sales + new 15% tariffs = a cash flow crisis waiting to happen. Every unsold case this coming Holiday season is a cost waiting to happen. But there’s still time to act to ensure your Q4 holiday sales do not go the way of last year’s experience. Find out more here.
