Organic Imports
Elenteny Imports is a certified organic handler fully compliant with USDA rules and regulations. Yes, we have our NOP. Yes, we can import your Organic Wine today.
We have four enrollment periods each year to ensure that we accurately register your wine for import.
Our next enrollment period runs from 1 – 20 June 2025, and you can submit your SKUs to the team to register for import (valid for one year). Reach out to Tim Kealey and the Logistics team at organic@elentenyimports.com to get started.
It’s Time for OND Orders
It’s time to submit your orders for OND. It may be a little early for some, but with shipping delays forecast due to the recent surge in orders across all commodities, and businesses trying to beat the next round of tariffs, we are urging our customers to submit their OND orders now.
Wild Winter Weather, Delays, Tariff Surges & Port Strikes
Strikes by the Belgian Labour Union at the Port of Antwerp from 19 – 21 May will result in delays to Port operations as ground transportation is suspended. It is expected that delays will continue as normal operations recover over the next week.
Freight forwarders are expecting a surge in shipments to West Coast Ports in the coming weeks, which may impact Port berth availability and result in delays to inbound shipments. Team Elenteny is keeping a close eye on our containers to ensure they move quickly on arrival.
Winter has arrived in Chile, and the border between Argentina and Chile is experiencing extreme weather. It closed this week on 19 May 2025, but traffic resumed on the 20th. With the wild weather season settling in, we are monitoring the impact on our shipments from the Port.
