Ocean Schedule Reliability is Improving
On a global scale, in 2021 ocean schedule reliability was from 35% to a low of 31% at the end of the year.  In 2022 it was 30% up to 55% by the end of 2022.  We began this year around 53% and are now above 60%.  Port issues and vessel schedules still change and cause delays, but things are steadily improving.

Strike Activity in France
Unions are striking over pension reform.  Le Havre and Fos sur Mer are both closed part time June 6th-8th.  Though the closures are only part time, it does result in notable disruption and backlog.

Claudia Brennan, Jr. Accountant

Claudia has a mind for organization and a satisfaction in cleaning up accounts, making a career in accounting an obvious fit.  She has 7+ years of AR experience and now leads the AR team at Elenteny Imports.

Originating from Naugatuck, CT and graduating from SUNY Albany in 2015, she moved to NYC and never looked back.  After a year of enjoying the restaurant scene, when her company relocated to Long Island an AR role at a wine logistics company was very appealing. Since she was captain of her swim team in high school and president of her sorority in college, the leadership role came naturally.

After bouncing back and forth between Queens, Jersey City, Lower East Side, Rockland County and the Upper East Side, Claudia has finally settled in the Bronx, along with her boyfriend Chris and a cat whom she loves very much.

Her hobbies include hiking, painting, gardening and creating bouquets. Claudia especially enjoys travel and is excited to return to Italy this September.
