Operations Update

Supply Chain Improvements
At the risk of sounding overly enthusiastic, we’ve seen continued improvement in inbounding times on both coasts, with dramatic improvements to both pier operations and the welcomed clearing of 3PL backlogs. Availability of equipment and better LTL delivery times are also bright spots. We remain cautiously optimistic about the eventual resumption of west coast LCL shipments, but there are still question marks with lengthy transit times, high prices and the lack of movement in ILWU-PMA talks. Stay tuned for updates.

French industrial unrest remains an ongoing concern and we continue to recommend allowing additional time for French shipments.

VinExpo Paris will take place Monday, February 13th to Wednesday, February 15th 2023 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. We are looking forward to meeting with many of our customers and prospects in person. Customer Spotlight: Iola Wines

Iola Wines focuses on women winemakers who make outstanding wines. Founder Marilee Bramhall started Iola Wines after years of working in wine in Washington and California, studying and traveling the wine regions of Europe, and completing with Highest Honors certifications for French and Italian Wine Scholar and WSET L3 with Merit.

The women wine growers she works with are producers who’ve consistently grown and made wines of depth and beauty.

Iola Wines also takes the concept of “Natural Wines” very seriously. Before they agree to import a wine, they do on-site visits with each vigneronne; walking her vineyards and witnessing her production to be confident they share the same definition of what it means to make wine naturally.
