Weekly Update Week 4: Jan 23rd-27th

Operations Update

It’s Time to Organize Your Rosé and Spring Wine Shipments
Although the supply chain problems continue to ease it is important to plan your rose shipments in plenty of time.  Potential industrial action in France makes it even more important to ship your French Rosé in a timely manner.  Despite the fact that many consumers are recognizing Rosé as a year round wine, some still want the newest, freshest vintage.  Overall, Rosé consumption over the last few years is up 22% (Decanter), and timing is important. We want to encourage you to send in your orders as soon as possible!

VinExpo Paris
VinExpo Paris will take place Monday, February13th to Wednesday, February 15th 2023 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.  More than 25,000 wine and spirits professionals are expected to attend.  Elenteny will be in attendance, please reach out to either your sales rep or support@elentenyimports.com if you would like to schedule dedicated time with us.

You can also find us at the St Hildie’s stand: H5.2 B 035.

French Industrial Action
The next round of French strikes over pension reform is scheduled for Jan. 31st with potential plans to intensify action on the 7th and 8th of February. Previous plans to reform the French pension system have led to long and protracted industrial disruption.  We encourage all of our importers to order early and to plan for disruption to French shipments.
