Authorities managing the Panama Canal are continuing draft restrictions first put into effect in April.  As the drought has persisted and water levels dropped by several feet, larger container ships now carry 25% less than earlier this year.  In addition to fewer sailings, and longer transit times, some surcharges may begin to be assessed on these shipments as well.

Port disruption in Canada:  Dockworkers Strike Hits Canada’s Pacific Ports.  Although we don’t ship to Canada the disruption may affect some west coast shipment schedules.

Friendly Reminder:  Your favorite producers are about to put down their tools and head to the beach. Skip the headaches and order now before those vineyards take their holidays.  We’re here to help you, just reach out to your account manager or support@elentenyimports.com.
