Beaujolais Nouveau (from France’s Beaujolais region) is celebrated annually on the third Thursday of November—a tradition that continues to captivate wine enthusiasts worldwide.   Under French law, the wine – Beaujolais Nouveau – is released at 12.01 am, just weeks after the wine’s grapes have been harvested in the region. West Coast Severe Weather Warnings

A powerful “bomb cyclone” recently developed off the Oregon coast, bringing severe weather impacts to the region. This meteorological phenomenon is characterized by a rapid drop in atmospheric pressure of at least 24 millibars within 24 hours.   The storm’s severity prompted maritime authorities to issue warnings to vessels operating in the area. Container ships and other large vessels were advised to alter their courses to avoid the storm’s path, mitigating the risk of accidents and cargo loss.

Elenteny is currently monitoring the impact of the storm to determine if the containers we have on the water will be delayed.

It’s Warehouse Peak Season
We are currently experiencing delays due to the Peak Season, which is impacting our usual timelines from Port to Warehouse.  As a result, the inbound processing of containers at our warehouse is currently operating between 48–72 hours after the last free day pick up from the Port.

We are working closely with our warehouses to ensure that usual operations return as quickly as possible.  Thank you for your understanding and patience during this period.  Reach out to answers@ if you have any immediate concerns.

Thanksgiving Closures. 
Elenteny Imports will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, and the following day, Friday, November 29.
